Bikini Berlin

The „Zentrum am Zoo“ designey by Schwebes and Schoszberger on the Breitscheidplatz in downtown West-Berlin in 1957 was nicknamed the „Bikini-Haus“.

Sharp angles

A white plaster facade and sharp angles are the main features of a new residential builidng in Berlin, designed by the Berlin architect Sohrab Zafari.

Located in the Waisenstrasse in Mitte, the design had to respond to the geometry of a left-over site. The building contains seven apartments, incluidng two duplexes and tow townhouse with a pool on the roof.

Mäckler’s Zoofenster
